AFTER Kane Specialty Interiors, LLC suggested that they remove the old, carpeted stairs and dated wrought iron railing and replace them with a stained oak staircase to match their new hardwood floors. Kane Specialty Interiors also suggested they add casing and 5-piece overdoor cornices to the plain drywall entryways into their dining and living rooms, and add wainscoting (wall treatments) along the staircase. These renovations transformed the foyer into the gorgeous focal point of the home, and enriched the colonial and traditional style of the house and its furnishings.
